Donley County Government

County Services

Notary services are available at the County Judge's office or the County Treasurer's office in the Donley County Courthouse.     Office hours: M-F 8-12;1-5

The County  Dump is located on County Road "T" east off of Hwy 70 South.  The Dump is open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Dump will accept shingles, but only one pickup truck load per BFI dumpster.  For clarification of this policy, call Judge Hall at 874-3625.

Hunting and Fishing Licenses are sold in the District/County Clerk's office in the Courthouse Annex in Clarendon.  The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to  12:00 noon; 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Voter Registration: Cards can be picked up at the District/County Clerk's office or the Tax Assessor Collector's office in the Courthouse Annex.

 

JOB OPENINGS  

Constable, Precinct 3&4

Applications are now being accepted for the position of Constable, Precincts 3 & 4.  Applicants must have been a resident of Donley County Precincts 3 or 4 for at least six months to qualify. Applications can be picked up and returned to the County Judge’s office in the Courthouse in Clarendon.  Applications must be returned no later than 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2007.

Part Time Clerk - JP 3&4 in Hedley

Applications are being taken for part-time clerk for the Donley County Justice of the Peace Court Precincts 3&4. Must have typing skills, computer experience, ability to meet and work with people in person or by phone. Applications may be obtained at the Justice of the Peace office in Hedley or at the County Judge's office in the Courthouse in Clarendon.  All applications must be returned to the Justice of the Peace office in Hedley on or before noon on February 7, 2007.
