Spring Prairie Chicken & Turkey Strut
Viewing Season

Daily Viewing - $99.00 per person
Held Daily thru the booming & drumming season from late March through early May. 24 hour advance reservation required. All viewing takes place in a covered blind with an interpretative guide.

2 day, 1 night packages - $259.00 per person
Friday Evening: Join us for an interpretive program that explores the vast natural and historic resources Donley County and the Texas Prairie Rivers Region has to offer. Enjoy the fabulous starscapes, nighttime beauty and nocturnal sounds of a prairie spring night.
Spend the night in one of our wonderful Bed & Breakfasts, Ranch Guest Houses or Dude Ranch.
For those of you viewing Prairie Chicken you will be staying at the Martinez Ranch which is part of the historical R.O. Ranch.
Saturday Morning: Your guide will pick you up and transport you to your historic viewing site, DRESS WARMLY ! We will settle into our comfortable blind with your guide to help set up your equipment. While it is still pitch black outside, we will hear the unmistakable booming of the Lesser Prairie Chicken or drumming of the Rio Grande Turkey. After this fabulous early morning display we will finish up the morning touring this beautiful 7000 acre ranch.
Next we will head into the historic Saint's Roost of Clarendon. Here we will have lunch at a great local restaurants of your choice, followed by a tour of the Saint's Roost Museum and some shopping in our unique retail, art & antique stores. This will conclude the day's organized activities.

2 day, 2 night packages - $495.00 per person

3 day, 2 night packages - $645.00 per person

All packages include meals, lodging, interpretive program, guides & fees. Transportation from Amarillo International Airport can be easily arranged.
